USTA Alabama seeks to help support Community Tennis Associations (CTA) and other Alabama providers, organizations and individuals in their efforts to secure grant funding to support the growth of tennis.
The following grants are offered by the Alabama Tennis Association (ATA) to grow and support tennis in Alabama.
USTA Alabama Special Programming Grant
This grant is offered to individuals, CTAs and organizations to help grow the game of tennis in their communities in Alabama. Applications are accepted year-round; funding is limited.
USTA Alabama Junior Team Tennis Grant for local league coordinators.
This grant is offered to local league coordinators that are new or existing. Applications are accepted year-round; funding is limited.
2024 USTA Alabama Growth & Innovation Grant
Deadline is April 15, 2024
USTA Alabama is proud to offer the 2023 Growth & Innovation Grant to eligible applicants, including Alabama tennis providers and Community Tennis Associations (CTA). The grant, up to $2,500, will fund programs or ideas that specifically focus on growing tennis in Alabama.
USTA Alabama Marketing Grant

USTA Alabama Tennis Grant
This grant provides funding for community-based tennis court projects. Communities may receive funding for basic improvements such as windscreens, nets and/or minor improvements, as well as resurfacing, structural improvements or new construction. Limited funds are available. Rolling deadline-grant applications will be accepted year round and reviewed quarterly. USTA Facility Assistance Grant:
Whether you are attempting to build a new tennis facility, renovate and upgrade an existing one, or construct new 36 and 60-foot tennis courts, the USTA provides the tools you need to make it happen from guidance on advocacy efforts to technical and financial assistance.
