How do I get a tennis plate and what does it cost?
You can either go to your DMV or apply online at http://revenue.alabama.gov/motorvehicle/generic.cfm
The plate is $50 a year on top of your normal license fee.
Can my plate be personalized?
Personalizing is included in the cost or you may opt for a pre-numbered plate at your DMV.
Is it tax deductible?
Each year you renew the Alabama Tennis Foundation will receive $41 which is tax deductible.
Where does the money go?
The Alabama Tennis Foundation is committed to benefiting the children of Alabama that might not have access to organized sports activities. The Foundation partners with CTA’s, Park and Recreation Departments, Schools, and the National Junior Tennis and Learning Network. The mission of USTA Alabama is to provide equipment, instruction, and help with the building of tennis courts, tennis court maintenance, and to help juniors reach their goals in life and on the tennis courts. By purchasing a plate you insure that more children can be introduced to the lifelong benefits of tennis!
